Do I need a patent to submit my idea?
If your idea or product is not patented, patent pending, trademarked or copyrighted you can still get the valuable industry expert panel review for $299. You will receive specific feedback on your product. If we love your idea and want to partner with you to launch your product, the submission fee will be applied to the patent preparation process.
Can I submit my idea in person at your offices?
If your invention meets the DRTV Inc. criteria and unique scoring process, you will be invited to meet with us and demonstrate your product in person. The first step is to submit your invention here.
Can I send you a nondisclosure agreement (NDA) before submitting my product?
Our process is 100% confidential, but unfortunately due to the volume of products we review, we can't sign an NDA for each submission.
How will I know what you think about my product?
After you submit your product, in about 4 weeks you will receive a response from us letting you know if DRTV Inc. is interested in your product or idea.
Can I withdraw my submission?
You can request to withdraw your submission by sending an email to submissions@DRTVinc.com. Upon receipt of your withdrawal request, we will stop any further review. Any submission fees paid are non-refundable. Any submitted materials will not be returned.
Can I submit my idea for review even if I already have an infomercial?
Absolutely. You can enter the DRTV Inc. product launch process at any stage in your product's lifecycle (find out more about our process here). Just let us know about your current marketing when you submit your product.
Do I have to be 18 to participate?
You must be 18 years old OR you must have your parent or legal guardian submit your product.
How much will I be compensated for my invention?
There are many ways that DRTV Inc. partners with inventors, so we can't give an estimation without getting the details of the specific product. Every situation is different, but if we choose your product for launch, we are committed to offering competitive, honest and very fair licensing deals.
